Hey all,
I'm happy to announce that Spirits of Steel: A New Dawn is nearing being feature complete. As such, I'm requesting some suggestions as to make the game as great as possible.
So far, I've managed to cram a lot of features into the new game, including but not limited to:
- Working factions and faction wars
- An ideology system
- Peace treaties
- 7+ historical and a-historical starting conditions
- 300+ playable countries
- Reworked military, political, and industrial systems
It is currently on pace to be released in late December / early January, though it may be pushed back as I see fit. To be notified immediately when the game comes out, I would recommend subscribing to my YouTube channel, as that is where I will be putting up the game trailer.

Will their be an Egypt focus tree?
Each country will share a reskinned version of the same tree. Though it will be very large to counterbalance it.
Some way to make custom focus trees if they are going to be added, also a discord server might be neat if player created content becomes more important to the game
Focus trees are in the game, though adding the ability to make custom focus trees is not a priority and will not be included on release. A discord server sounds like a great idea.
You should add a puppet country system for situations like Manchuria and japan, allowing to annex or have more control over the puppet country, also an easy way to transfer land between you and the puppet please, I like puppeting countries and giving their borders back please :)
